Corrine's orchid is quickly catching mine in size. It was a rough year for my orchid, and I though this last bloom would kill him-but alas he fought back against his torn and broken fronds growing a new shoot of leaves straight off the middle of his stalk.
A photo that does justice to this weather-and the emotions it embodies. Tomato plant I offer you honor and thanks for loyalty and fruits this year. You are a good plant friend. I will miss your cheery red welcome. But the good news is our baseboard heater we forced management to install last year is awesome! Our apartment is warm and it runs off a separate breaker so I can use the microwave, coffee maker, and hairdryer without blowing a fuse. Maybe winter won't be so bad after all this year.
