European Vacation-Day Nine.

I'm typing this from my living room, so glad that I could upload these photos in 5 minutes instead of 2 hours! Our goal was to not walk anywhere, but only a few buses were running so we ended up walking several miles down to the waterfront. It was a great way to start the New Year.

What happens in Scotland-stays in Scotland.

Getting home was easier than expected aside from the additional security measures we "participated" in at the Amsterdam airport that delayed us an hour. It was a very very thorough frisking with additional bag checks, metal detectors, and passport confirmations. But our flight even arrived back in NYC earlier than expected and we welcome by a temperature of 18 degrees. It feels good to be home--and we brought enough English condiments back with us to remind of us of good times for the next few months. So if you need any Hendersons, HP, Branston Fruity sauce or Branston Pickle (original and mustard) you know who to call.
