Espana dia Siete-Begur.

We learned that coming down for breakfast at 10 means there isn't much left. Luckily being vegetarian, there wasn't much to start with. More bread with tomato and cheese...le sigh.

Today we decided to try a different beach.
But the GPS took us off road. You should hear Jill try to speak Spanish, she makes my annunciation stellar!
And we learned the Spanish road sign for dead end which basically looks like a "T" where the top crossbar is red. Unfortunately we had to come to one to get that.
Passing on country roads.
This is AiguaBlava which had run out of free parking and we were too cheap to pay so we kept looking.
That's our rental VW golf.
Fornells beach.
A rock beach in a yatch club. Not our style.
And ended up back at Sa Riera with it's many paisty topless european tourist and free parking. We fit right in!

Kept our suits on.

After swimming we took the coastal walkway.

Then found several nude beaches where we saw disturbing things-and turned back.
Lunch at a seaside cafe. Pizza, coffee, Shandy, and some amazing creme crossant thing.
We hung out at the hotel the rest of the day. It was glorious.
It looks more like Simba than the stone lion in the garden...
I'm not drunk I just have a wonky eye.

Vegetarian lasagna that Joan made for us. It was more like creamed alfredo spinach over noodles but we were thankful for the effort.
And I think the cheesecake was really a type of Flan but it was good. Tomorrow we head back to Barcelona-it's hard to believe our time here is almost over. We met a German tonight who is on vacation for 3 of his 6 paid weeks of vacation. Must be nice.
