Yeah-it's that weird.
The view from our window of the boardwalk and Brighton pier.
EVERYTHING closed at 4 P.M. We would have enjoyed spending a few days here exploring all the shops.

*It's always better to opt for tea in this country.

"nibbles"
Wine guy to wine guy.
Which meant we did a lot of tasting!
We had dinner at the Drakes Restaurant as everything else was closed.

Butternut Squash with truffle soup.
Polenta dinner rolls with sun dried tomato.
Butternut squash ravioli with spinach for me.
Kurt got some sort of puff pastry with goat cheese and spinach, carrots, and chestnuts.
Pre-dessert-dessert. I think there were cranberries in it?
Christmas pudding. We were not expecting such a wonderful meal-and I regretted eating so many cups of "nibbles". I would have enjoyed being hungry enough to order the full vegetarian course.
Good times.
