So after we voted I jumped on the crosstown bus and then the subway to check out the Chilewich sample sale. This is a vinyl flooring company. I snagged some amazing deals.
The avenues in this part of town are long, and as usual I went the wrong direction and had to turn around and backtrack. It was on 36th street between 7th and 8th ave.
Kurt met me over there and then helped me get into a cab. Luckily cabbies are pretty tolerant.
Over my lap and out the window! I got a 6x8 for 140 (normally almost $500!) and a 6x10 for $180 (normally $550!). Throw in a $16 cab ride (I tipped generously) and what you have my friends is a bargain! I'll post photos when I get them set-up.
