Corrine picked up a Christmas Tree stand for me yesterday while she was in Jersey. The one I had too small and I would not pay the 20.00 bucks the guys at the Bodega wanted for one.
We should have just left it at this. We would have liked each other a lot more by the end of the night.
But no...I wanted to see it over here....and in the process it fell on me, soaked the carpet, and put a fine layer of pine needles over everything.
I left it for the night and this morning moved it back to this corner (Mouse will be thrilled). I think I'm just going to leave it alone. Lesson learned? Spend more than 7.99 on a Christmas Tree stand or do not be involved in the process.
